Getting around Brno and accessing the Faculty of Social Studies
Public transport
Public transport in Brno is provided by the South Moravian Integrated Public Transport System (IDS – JMK) and offers a wide variety of possibilities - trams, buses and trolley buses. The public transport in cheap, relatively comfy and very reliable.
Important stops
The nearest stations to the Faculty are Komenského náměstí (tram number 4) or Česká (tram number 4, 9, 12, 5, 6, 3, 11).

Where to buy?
Tickets are sold at ticket vending machines, DPMB shops, kiosks and railway stations and via SMS at the stop. You can also buy a ticket for a higher price on the bus, just ask the driver and be sure you have the exact amount of money.
One-way ticket costs 25 CZK (approx. 1 €) (valid in Brno centre, zones 100+101)
One-day ticket costs 100 CZK (approx. 3,7 €) (valid in Brno centre, zones 100+101 and specified zones)

Other possibilities of transport
However, the city center is walking friendly and a pedestrian zone leads you comfortably from the Main Train Station, the most important transportation nod, almost directely to the Faculty building itself (at Joštova 10 street) via Masarykova street, Náměstí Svobody, Česká street and then left via Joštova street to its very end. The Faculty will be located on right, next to one of the most important Brno landmarks - the "Red Church". It will take about 15 minutes to get there.
There are also several taxi points around the city center and a bike sharing system.
